High quality fabric meets artistic excellence in our duvet covers, one of the few luxury-class printed bedding options available.
While your eye will immediately be caught by the captivating designs, the work begins deep in the very threads of material that will become our duvet covers. In order to ensure the fabric is both strong and flexible, we use only long-staple cotton and a 60-80 yarn thread count with single-ply yarn (to learn more about what that means, visit the “Our Sheets” section).
We then use a 400 thread count Egyptian Cotton weave, which is a one-over one-under pattern that creates a light, breathable fabric that feels crisp and cool to the touch. The 400 thread count is on par with top luxury bedding brands, offering a material that has a natural weight and softness (keep in mind that higher thread counts, such as 500-600, can actually be coarser due to multi-ply yarn).
Our duvet covers are carefully stitched and feature corner ties and clear, large buttons, keeping your duvet in place no matter how much you toss and turn.
What makes Villa Cotton duvet covers stand out from the crowd, though, is our hand-painted designs straight from Italy. The original watercolor and sketched designs come from our design studio in Como, Italy. We then create high resolution digital copies, which are printed on our products using the latest technology in printing. The resolution of the prints is such that the smallest details of design, every brushstroke and color variation, is transferred to the fabric, bringing each artwork to vivid life in your bedroom. We offer options for all artistic tastes and décor themes, from monochrome to bright colors, abstract to lifelike, and so much more.
Our Duvet Cover sets offer one beautifully printed duvet cover and two printed envelope closure shams.
